Provides copies of permanently stored reports taken by the Memphis Police Department and the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, including incident/offense reports and accident/auto crash reports. CyberWatch database also provides up to date information on crimes, auto crashes and felony reports in your neighborhood and more, and allows Memphis residents to submit information on valuables online (this information can be used in case of future theft or robbery) at the website: https://mdsas.memphispolice.org/cw/n/cyberwatch.php NOTE: This office moved from 201 Poplar to the old Donnelley J. Hill State Office Building at 170 N Main Street on May 5, 2017; building is now known as MPD Public Safety Building.

Intake Process:
Reports on file include auto accidents, assaults, burglary, homicide, larceny, vehicle thefts, robbery, rape, vandalism and others. Call (901) 636-3800 for Incident/offense Reports and (901) 636-3650 for Auto Crash Reports; may also order certain reports online through the LexisNexis link on the MPD website.
To order reports online, Go to the MPD homepage and click on FORMS AND REPORTS. Under REPORTS, click on OBTAIN REPORT. Scroll down the page and click on ONLINE CRASH REPORTS. This will take you to the Lexis.Nexis site, where you can search for e crash report following the directions posted there. Once you find the crash report you want, click on ADD TO CART and you will be taken to another page to log in or create a Lexis/Nexis profile to order the full report.
Program Fees:
For Tennessee residents with ID, police reports are 15 cents/page. For those without Tennessee ID: $15.00/initial report; Individual photographs are $5.00 for a regular print. Cash, money orders, cashier's checks, Visa, Discover or Master Card credit cards and debit cards with a Visa or Master Card logo accepted for payment; no personal checks accepted.
