Description:

Those who need a free winter coat, for children, men, or women, are encouraged to contact area social service agencies or churches (over 180 are partnering with KARM) to ask for vouchers for themselves and their family. They can then shop in the Coats for the Cold section of any KARM Store from Nov. 13 to Dec.9, 2023 for a coat(s), and then "pay" for it at the register with the voucher.

Anyone who wishes to donate an adult's or child's coat to the Coats for the Cold program may drop it off at any KARM Thrift Store (even those outside Knox County) or any Prestige Cleaner between Oct 16 and Nov 11, 2023. Please note that they are collecting coats only, no sweatshirts/hoodies/zippered sweatshirts. Also, there is a great need for children's sizes and large adult sizes (XL and above). Please give only coats in good condition. Tax deductible.

Hours:

Coats can be picked up during store hours between Nov 13 and Dec 9, 2023. Hours vary from store to store. Call 865-521-0770 for more information. You must have a voucher to receive a coat.

Obtain voucher from any of 180+ church/agency partners in the community.
