Of One Accord is an organization that works to bring a cooperative community effort in Hawkins and Hancock counties to identify and meet local needs / Of One Accord brings together volunteers and representatives from community churches and agencies to identify problems and needs, then to formulate and implement ways to solve those needs / Of One Accord also works with all county agencies, yet is a distinctively Christian organization / Among the Board of Directors are many different faith expressions / Of One Accord does not discriminate in its services due to race or creed / We DO NOT provide monetary assistance for anything including electricity, any kind of utilities, or rental assistance / Our main program is food / We do not give away furniture or clothing except in the event of home fire when there is no insurance to replace lost items / In that event, with a fire marshal report and proof of no insurance, we help within limits /
