Description:

Promotes business development and growth in Shelby, Lauderdale, Tipton and Fayette counties. Helps arrange meetings with government officials, local business leaders, bank officers to expedite relocation of industries and provides free information about local resources for businesses. Accepts and investigates complaints related to industrial development/government regulations. This is the Memphis regional office of the state department, as well as the location of EDGE (Economic Development Growth Engine of Memphis/Shelby County), an affiliate of the TN ECD Department.
