Description:

Provides duplicates and renewals for TN driver's licenses and identification cards only. Does not provide first time/original TN license as there is no testing provided at this location; does not provide renewals for commercial driver's licenses. Can switch the class of the license. Does not issue handgun permits but can renew handgun permits. This location also issues the Real ID that will be required to fly commercial airlines, enter some Federal buildings or nuclear sites starting in October 1, 2020.

Program Fees:

Renewal costs: regular five-year D Class license/$27.50; regular five-year identification card/$17.50; regular license with F endorsement has $2.50 added cost. Duplicate costs: first duplicate/$16.00; second and others/$20.00 Real ID costs: Same as Renewal Costs. NOTE: This location charges more for renewals and duplicates than TN Dept of Safety sites in Shelby County.

Eligibility:

Anyone wishing to renew regular TN driver's license or obtain a duplicate copy or be issued a Real ID may call for information; the Real ID requires extra documentation than getting a regular renewal or duplicate license or ID (see www.tn.gov/content/tn/tnrealid.html for details).
