University of Memphis - TN Drivers License/ID Renewal Self-Service Kiosk

Description:

Provides a self-service machine to renew or replace a TN driver's license or identification card in the University of Memphis Campus Bookstore at 506 University Street, Room 100, in the V. Lane Rawlins Service Court Building. You must have had a previous license or ID and be 18 or older to use this service; no commercial driver's license can be renewed or replaced by these machines. the TN Real IDs cannot be initially issued at kiosks, but once you have a REAL ID, you may renew or replace one at the kiosks.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (closed for campus holidays); Sat 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Intake Process:

Must have old drivers license or ID (not expired more than five years) or numbers from card OR you must type in the last four digits of your Social Security Number; follow directions upon screen. Upon payment, you will be issued a receipt and a temporary paper ID or license; your permanent card should arrive in the mail within 20 days; if you lose your temporary paper license, you can purchase a duplicate for $12.00 at the kiosk, online at tn.gov or by visiting the TN Drivers License Service Center.

Eligibility:

Persons who are 18 and older who have previously had a TN Drivers License or Photo ID; will not renew Commercial Drivers Licenses or licenses issued through the military; must go to Drivers Service Center in person to renew these types of licenses.
