Description:

Holston Habitat uses volunteer labor and contributions of money and materials to build and repair homes in partnership with individuals and families with limited income and a housing need. Holston Habitat's Homeownership Program offers homebuyers the opportunity to qualify for an affordable mortgage for the purchase of a newly constructed or renovated Habitat home. Homebuyers participating in this program must save for closing costs, complete the homebuyer education program and invest sweat equity in the building of their home and in other Habitat projects. Holston Habitat's Home Repair Program offers homeowners the opportunity to qualify for an affordable, critical home repair. Qualifying home repairs must impact the health and safety of residents and/or the preservation of the home.

Note: The Habitat Office is located at 100 Greenwood Lane, Kingsport, TN 37663.

Please call office or print out application at www.holstonhabitat.org. Completed applications can be mailed to the P.O. Box.

Applications are available on website during open application periods.
