Description:
Makes special effort to provide uninterrupted power supply in times of emergency for customers dependent on physician-certified, non-portable life-sustaining equipment. MLGW will not disconnect any residential accounts for non-payment when heat index will be 95 degrees Fahrenheit or above or the wind chill factor will be 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below at any time in a 24-hour period for customers who have been certified as life-support dependent. Requires prior registration from MLGW and doctor's certificate verifying customer's condition.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00pm., Monday through Friday
Intake Process:
Call Customer Care Center to notify MLGW and to be certified as life-support dependent.

Eligibility:
Any certified MLGW customers or household member on life-sustaining equipment
