Description:

Provides optional school education to Shelby County children, grades K-12, who meet requirements. Applications usually available on the website in late January for the coming school year.

Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Program Fees:

Tuition free to city residents. Non-city residents (must be from Tennessee) pay tuition, unless a full-time employee of MSCS (tuition waived)

Eligibility:

Qualified students may transfer into optional programs when entrance requirements are met and space is available. Call the office or individual schools for specific entrance requirements. Application usually begins in late January preceding the school year. Application forms are usually available online at the website starting in late January.
