Description:
Serves children with disabilities and developmental delays in the Nashville community; provides early intervention, therapy, and educational services. Also operates a Child Development Center for all children ages birth to 5 years in an inclusive preschool. Provides early intervention services to children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, prematurity and variety of other medical conditions; can assist in location most practical for family, as well as a special program targeting Spanish speaking families.
Services include
- Individualized developmental education sessions with child and family
- Developmental testing
- Collaboration with families, physicians, and therapists
- Trainings designed to increase knowledge and skills related to working with children with disabilities.
*NOTE: A referral through Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) is required for some of the services

Volunteer work includes reading to children, assisting in classrooms, office work, and grounds keeping; background checks are required for volunteers spending more than a few hours with the children; volunteers are always supervised by staff

Description
Provides individualized learning to children ages birth to 12 years, regardless of ability or condition. A wide variety of diagnoses and treatments can be given Therapy offered: - Speech-language therapy - Alternative ad augmentation communication - Hearing loss, Apraxia - Physical therapy - Speech therapy - Occupational therapy - Feeding therapy - Sensory processing - Sensory integration - Therapeutic listening - Aquatic therapy

The Ayudando Ninos Program supports children with disabilities and their families who do not speak English as their primary language. Interpretive services are also offered to families in order to assist them as they advocate for the needs of their child.
