Project for Neighborhood Aftercare - Ida B. Wells Elementary

Description:

School-based early and aftercare program that is available when MNPS schools are in session for the full day (unavailable during breaks or half days). Children receive tutoring and homework help, enrichment activities, physical education opportunities, and snacks. Extended child care offered to children in kindergarten through 5th grade at selected MNPS schools: Sylvan Park, Charlotte Park, Churchwell, Cockrill, Ida B. Wells and Rose Park. Locations are subject to change.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 6:30 am - 7:45 am and 3:45 pm - 5:30 pm. Care is only offered when MNPS schools are in session for the full day. No care is provided during breaks or on half days.

Intake Process:

Complete the online registration packet for the selected school and submit it to the site director.

Program Fees:

$100 per semester per child non-refundable registration fee due in August plus an annual program fee per child of $1250. Financial aid may be available.

Eligibility:

Students who attend Ida B. Wells Elementary School.
