Plant the Seed is a non-profit that provides agriculture-inspired experiential education to about 1400 Nashville Metro Public School students in grades Pre-K-4th by partnering with early learning centers and elementary schools in vulnerable neighborhoods in Nashville. The agency is part of a national movement seeking to make school gardens sources of vitality in low-income areas. Plant the Seed also provides community-based garden education in Davidson County, TN. Staff facilitators provide weekly hands-on gardening instruction to school children and offer more than 34 seasonally relelvant lessons along with the garden based curriculum.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
