901Ride Choice now has two programs. The traditional program for those 60 and over or disabled and the new program titled Rides to Resources.

Provides a free phone number for transportation referrals for persons 60 and older and/or persons with disabilities to find available public and private transportation resources in the city of Memphis.

901RideChoice 60 and Over
Provides a free phone service for transportation referrals for people 60+ or those with disabilities in Memphis, connecting them to public and private transportation options.

Starting September 3, 2024:
We!€™re continuing to offer free rides for seniors and people with disabilities to address transportation gaps. Eligible destinations include:

Behavioral health appointments (Counseling)
Physical therapy
Pharmacy/prescription pickup
Primary care/medical appointments
Grocery store
Maternal-related appointments
Eligibility:

Must be a resident of Shelby County
Destinations must be within Shelby County
Persons with disabilities must be at least 18
Seniors must be at least 60 (if not living with a disability)
As with all 901RideChoice programs, rides are completely free, funded by a federal 5310 grant through MATA to help solve transportation barriers for healthcare services.

Confirm: A call center representative will confirm your ride.
Please Schedule rides at least 2-3 days in advance.

Program Fees:

Free for seniors and disabled. Others may call to discuss referral options.

Eligibility:

Persons 60 or older and/or persons with disabilities in Memphis who need information about transportation resources; the program offers Rides to Wellness which offers 25 free rides per month to health related appointments. Must schedule two days prior to trip.
