Description:
Volunteer Behavioral Health provides a continuum of services including, but not limited to, outpatient counseling, evaluation services, medication management, care management, intensive outpatient programs and crisis services to treat mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The VBH Lebanon campus offers case management, medication management, Adult and Children's Outpatient Therapy, Intensive Outpatient program, Mobile Crisis line, PATH program for the homeless, SOAR, SSVF, Peer Support Center, Behavioral Safety Net for adults and children, Criminal Justice Mental Health Liaison, Forensic Evaluations and Finding My Recovery Online Support Program.

Description
Provides the PATH [Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness] and SOAR program, assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness who have mental illness or co-occurring disorders; the program funds community-based outreach services to connect individuals to mental health, substance abuse, case management, and other support services as well as limited housing services. The PATH Program offers assistance to homeless people who are mentally challenged or dealing with substance abuse. They work to help clients gain housing, employment, SSI, and mental health services. The SOAR program [SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery] that expedites getting social security approval for persons with a mental illness who are experiencing homelessness. PATH staff are provided at the VBH Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Cookeville, Crossville, Franklin and Lebanon Campuses,

Eligibility
People 18 and older experiencing literal homelessness or who are at risk for homelessness, who have not received mental health or substance use services in six months or more. Anyone who is homeless or within 7 days of eviction with mental illness or substance abuse problem or both may apply.

Description
Neighborhood-based outpatient facilities that offer individual, group, conjoint and family counseling, therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents, especially those who are indigent, who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders or who may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations such as separation, divorce, widowhood, loss of a child, poor health, unemployment, family violence, delinquency or substance abuse.
