Provides emergency housing for single men and women ages 18 and older and families with children in dormitory-style units. No limit on number of children per family who can stay at shelter. Interview conducted upon arrival. Applicants must be Shelby County residents with valid photo IDs, and couples must be married to stay at the shelter. Must be able to administer your own medications. Priority given to residents of zip codes 38109 and 38116, but other Shelby County residents accepted if space is available. Will accept pregnant women. No Sex Offenders

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call or walk in for information. Accepts referrals from agencies, churches, and self-referrals.

Program Fees:

$75.00/week, individual; $100.00/week, family. Depending on individual circumstances, some applicants may be able to stay up to 7 days for free.
