Family Promise of Blount County - Temporary Shelter Program

Description:

Families with children who are enrolled in the program are provided overnight shelter for a maximum stay of 90 days, meals 3 times a day and intensive case management services to assist in finding lasting jobs, homes, child care and other community resources. The goal is to help families become self-sufficient and find permanent housing.
We enroll families in the program by priority as spots are available. The parent/guardian must call to get on the waiting list.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call (865) 233-4737 for an appointment.
Referrals are accepted but not required.
Children are Mandatory

Program Fees:

No Fee

Eligibility:

Families with children under the age of 18 who are homeless or facing eviction.
Children are mandatory.
Must have no severe mental health issues, no active drug/alcohol abuse, no domestic violence cases. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Certain criminal records will exclude guests
(i.e. crimes against person, property, and sex offenders).
