Provides emergency family shelter for homeless mothers and their children (no age limit on children) that are referred by the MIFA HPRP Memphis/Shelby County Housing Crisis Hotline. NOTE: FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 18 MUST APPLY THROUGH THE MEMPHIS & SHELBY COUNTY EMERGENCY HOTLINE (901-529-4545) TO BE REFERRED TO THIS SHELTER; YOU CANNOT CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY FOR HELP. Each case reviewed individually. Applicants must have valid photo ID, Social Security cards for all household members, proof of income, and proof of address if applicable. Offers a single room with a bathroom for accepted applicants.

Intake Process:

Call and leave a message at the county housing crisis hotline (901-529-4545); requires referral from this HPRP Housing Crisis Hotline at MIFA. Must provide valid photo ID, Social Security cards for all household members, proof of income and proof of address if applicable.
