Description:
The Critical Repair and Aging in Place program (AIP) makes accessibility enhancements, energy efficiency improvements, and critical home repairs that enable senior citizens to move around safely inside their homes and complete the routines of daily living. Our goal is to help elderly or disabled individuals continue to live in their own home longer and maintain their independence.
The type of work that may be provided includes critical repairs and accessibility modifications such as: roof repair, replacing vinyl siding, HVAC repair, installing grab bars, wheelchair ramps, widening doorways, fixing broken windows, repairing water leaks and other work that fits within the guidelines of the AIP program. Work performed will be determined ONLY by Loudon County Habitat for Humanity after an inspection of the home and a review of the tasks with the homeowner.
