Description:
A program designed to assist lower income seniors 60 years or older residing in Grainger, Claiborne or Hamblen County to make needed home repairs. The applicant must own the home, and should have a housing repair need such as living in unhealthy or unsafe conditions and be unable to qualify for a traditional home repair loan. Their property taxes must be current. Must have resided in Grainger, Claiborne, or Hamblen County for at least 12 months.
