Description:
Provides LIHEAP and emergency utility, rent and mortgage assistance, distributes USDA commodities, and administers Community Service Block Grants (CSBG) for other social service programs for Henry County residents. Clients can apply for LIHEAP and CSGB once per year. Clients cannot receive assistance from both program at the same time. However, clients can apply for both if they wait 6 months between programs.
NOTE: Cannot be receiving regular and emergency assistance at the same time
Hours:
Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Intake Process:
Cilents can walk in, but it is highly recommended that they call ahead of time to make an appointment.
Clients will need to bring:
1) Proof of income for all household members. This includes benefits statements for children over 18.
2) Social Security cards (original) for all family members
3) Annual utility printout (can receive from your utility company)
4) 2 months worth of paychecks/check stubs or a social security letter
