NOTE: BY PHONE OR APPOINTMENT ONLY; NO WALK INS ARE ACCEPTED DUE TO COVID-19. Provides rental, mortgage or utility assistance to eligible residents of Marshall County, MS, and one week's worth of frozen, home-delivered meals to seniors or persons with disabilities who qualify for the service. Also offers weatherization and homemaker services to eligible residents.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Intake Process:

Call for assistance or appointment (No Walkins due to COVID-19); Must provide, photo ID, original bill for utilities and Social Security numbers for each household member.

Eligibility:

Income requirements apply for rent/mortgage/utility assistance/weatherization. For meals and homemaker assistance, must be elderly or disabled resident of Marshall County, MS, who meets income and household size eligibility criteria. This agency also has an office in Booneville, MS and covers the counties of Alcorn, Marshall, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Benton, Tate and DeSoto counties in MS
