Description:
This is a volunteer church ministry in Kingsport, TN. The St Vincent de Paul Society provides person-to-person emergency aid to the poor, homeless, unemployed and underemployed people in the greater Kingsport area. Help is provided without regard to race, religion or ethnic background, and uses the concept of contact, support and prayer while protecting the dignity and confidentiality of those helped. Volunteers make home visits to help those who contacted SVdP.
Primary assistance: Rent, Electric, Heating Gas, Water, Food. Will NOT pay motel bills.
We answer the phone at 9:00 AM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Call us at 423-288-8222.
Depending on if volunteers and funds are available, two or three calls are answered each day.
