Description:
Provides rent and mortgage assistance to Davidson County residents. To be eligible, individuals must have:
* a legal lease/mortgage in their name
* experiencing a one-time financial hardship that can be documented
* enough income in the home moving forward to pay their bills
Rental Deposit assistance is available for residents who are moving into income-based housing from homelessness or market rate rentals. Deposit assistance is not available when moving between income-based properties, moving into market rate, or income restricted rentals.
To apply visit www.rooftopnashville.org to complete an online application. Applications can be found under "Get Help" and can be accessed from a computer or a smartphone. NOTE: APPLICATION WEBSITE WILL CLOSE DOWN WHEN APPLICATION CAPACITY IS FULL. CLOSED MEMORIAL DAY; APPLICATION SITE WILL RE-OPEN ON TUESDAY AFTER THAT HOLIDAY.
If unable to complete an online application, there is a drop box located at the building with paper applications. Rooftop does not accept walk in customers. Online applications are normally open Monday at 8:00 am - Wednesday at 5:00 pm. However, applications may close down early due to high volume.
