Program Fees:
$25.00 application fee for homeownership program; then mortgage fees will apply after the building is finished; house prices are lower than commercial rates

Applicants for the Sweat Equity home ownership program must show need for adequate housing, ability to pay, and willingness to partner and show proof of income, proof of residence and financial need, and other needed documents. Eligibility
Most partner families are first-time homeowners who had been living in substandard conditions. Serve families that earn between 30-60% of the area median income and would not qualify for conventional mortgage financing. Average household income for Habitat home buyers has been about $26,711.
