Subsidized public housing is available for low income individuals and families, seniors and disabled. Rent is based on income. Jefferson City Housing Authority does not participate in the voucher program.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Intake Process:

You can pick up an application from the Housing Authority office or call 865-475-2064, and hand-deliver it back to the office. You must take with you birth certificates, Social Security cards, proof of all earned and unearned income for all members of the household, as well as photo IDs for all adult members of the household. All adult members of the household must be present when turning in the application. You will then be placed on the waiting list. Call the office at 865-475-2064 if you have questions.

Program Fees:

There is no fee to apply. Rent is based on income.
