Description:

The South Central Family Center helps people in crisis find services that will get them back on their feet, including a food pantry, financial assistance for rent and utilities through the Good Samaritan program, and a housing program for people experiencing homelessness. Agency also provides assistance with medication, eyeglass payment/exam assistance, a food pantry and more, including Our Chance, a long term economic mobility program for families that pair them with personal finance coaches. Also provides turkey boxes at Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts for children for eligible families in Maury County.

Office Hours: Tue - Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call to schedule an appointment and learn more about the programs; may just walk in for food pantry assistance. Call in the fall for details on Holiday programs. Requires photo ID, proof of residence and financial assistance programs require proof of financial need.
