Description:

Provides dormitory-style transitional housing for up to 90 days for ex-offenders or other Shelby County residents. For persons who participate in the shelter and transitional housing programs, may also offer affordable similar permanent housing options with no credit check, including utilities, for $400.00/month for 2 bedrooms through the Fresh Start program; also offers rooms for rent at 3196 Forest Brooks Road and other locations upon request for $450.00/month, including utilities and food and clothing assistance.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call or walk in for information. Screening and drug test are mandatory.

Program Fees:

Transitional Housing Fees: $150.00 administrative, upfront fee and rental fees; however, ex-felons seeking employment have this fee waived until they find jobs. Residents must perform community service during their stay; Permanent Housing: $400.00 or $450.00/month; call for details and sites

Eligibility:

Ex-felons or other Shelby County residents in need of transitional housing. No sex offenders accepted.
