Description:
Church assists with Christian counseling, food, clothing and utilities to White County residents in need. Provides utility bill payment assistance (water, gas, electric) for low income White County residents. Can only pay a portion of the bill, and can only provide assistance once every 12 months. Provides clothing as available and food boxes to persons in need.
Hours:
Church Office Hours: Mon - Wed 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; Food Pantry Hours: Mon 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Intake Process:
Call for information on eligibility; for utility assistance, clients will need to bring:
1) Photo ID
2) A copy of the utility bill
3) Proof of income
*Will need to sign a privacy agreement, stating that East Sparta Church of God can call the utility provider to confirm bill

Eligibility:
White County residents in need of Christian counseling, food, clothing or utility help; only portion of utility bill can be paid and this help is only available once per year for families or individuals. Persons do not need to be church members to apply for help.
