Description:
Operates a thrift store and food bank. Uses funds raised from the thrift store to operate the food bank and assist with rent and utility payments for low income Smith County residents.
Hours:
Mon - Fri 10:00am - 4:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Intake Process:
Walk ins are welcome to the thrift store. Please call to make an appointment for the food pantry or rent and utility assistance.
Program Fees:
No fee for food pantry or rent/utility assistance. There is a nominal charge for items purchased in the thrift store.
Eligibility:
Rental assistance may be available for low-income Smith County residents who are victims of domestic violence or house fires. Utility assistance is available for Smith County residents who are experiencing financial hardship or are in an emergency situation. Assistance is offered once in a 12 month period. The thrift store is open to anyone.
