Description:
The HOPE Center Thrift Store offers furniture, small appliances, (no large appliances), small household items, clothing, and more for a small fee. The HOPE Center also provides assistance with rent, mortgage payments, utility payments, heating and fuel costs or clothing for people living in White House or within 4 miles of White House city limits. Clients can receive assistance every 6 months. The HOPE Center is also offering an angel tree program for the 2020 holiday season.
Hours:
Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Intake Process:
Walk in to Hope Center to meet with staff and apply. Applicant will complete paperwork, submit documentation, and meet with staff before a decision is made. Bring the following documents when applying:
-Proof of Income
-Mortgage, Rental Agreement or Copy of utility bill
-2 forms of Identification
Program Fees:
No Fee for assistance; thrift store prices vary by item but are considerably lower than market value
Eligibility:
People who went through an emergency or significant loss of income who are living in White House or within 4 miles of White House city limits. Clients can receive assistance every 6 months.
