Local churches partner to provide food, clothing, household goods, and utility assistance to anyone in need in Macon, Putnam, or Smith County (NOTE: UTILITY ASSISTANCE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTS). Picture ID and social security card are needed. The church does present the gospel and talk about Christianity with individuals that they assist.

To donate clothes or household items to the Care Center, just stop by during business hours. Due to space limitations, the Care Center is unable to accept furniture donations. Please avoid dropping off donations at the door when the Care Center is closed.
Volunteer Opportunities:
The Care Center is always in need of volunteers to help sort through donations, organize items, as well as minister to the people that come through. If you are interested, please contact the Care Center Director. Volunteers from partnering churches are always welcome.
