Good Samaritans - Crossville - Utility Assistance

Description:

Provides utility bill payment assistance to residents of Cumberland County. Assistance is provided only once per year. Can assist with half of the utility bill, up to $150. Cannot assist with bills from past residence or reconnection fees. A cut off notice is NOT required.

Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call for more information;

Clients will need to bring
1) Proof of income
2) Proof of household expenses (e.g. rent or utility bills)
2) Proof of any government assistance received
3) Photo ID
4) Social Security card.

Program Fees:

No Fee

Eligibility:

Residents of Cumberland County who meet income and other eligibility requirements; Must be a US Citizen and meet income guidelines; Those with a criminal background may not be eligible; Assistance can only be provided once per year
