The Health Department's Mission is to protect, promote, and improve the health and prosperity of people in Tennessee.
Services Provided:
Children's Services:
Community Health Access and Navigation in Tennessee (CHANT) - serves pregnant and postpartum adolescents and women; children (birth-21 years) and children and youth with special healthcare needs (birth to 21 years). CHANT provides enhanced patient-centered engagement, navigation of medical and social services referrals, and impacts pregnancy, child, and maternal health outcomes.
Women's Health Services:
Tennessee Breast and Cervical Program; Family Planning; Pregnancy Test; Prenatal Education Classes; and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Testing Services:
Communicable Disease Services; HIV Testing and Counseling; Sexually Transmitted Disease Program and Sickle Cell Screening for Children.
Additional Services:
Vital Records Retrieval; Dental Health Services; Immunizations; Nutritional Services; Environmental Health; Health Educational and Voter Registration.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
WIC 4:30pm-6:00pm 3rd Monday Of Each Month
