Trousdale Turner Correctional Center (TTCC) is a medium security facility for men managed by CoreCivic, a private corrections management firm.
TTCC provides a robust reentry and rehabilitation curriculum for offenders, including the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), along with other programs to help offenders recognize and modify negative behavior patterns.
In addition, academic programs in basic education, literacy and GED preparation are provided for offenders along with vocational training in a wide range of fields like electrical, masonry and computer technology.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers play a critical role in successful reentry. Volunteers are mentors, teachers, coaches and artists facilitating services at all prisons statewide. Those interested in volunteering may attend the Citizens' Correctional Academy, which is offered to Tennesseans who: are 18 or older, do not have a family member incarcerated in a Tennessee prison or on Community Supervision, have no criminal history other than minor traffic violations, and are able to attend all education sessions and the graduation ceremony in the Nashville area. Volunteers may also apply directly without attending the Citizens' Correctional Academy by completing the online volunteer application. All volunteers will be required to submit references and undergo a background check.
