Description:

Shelby County Pretrial Services provides offenders with programs that are alternatives to incarceration for criminal justice related offenses. Services include, but are not limited to: screening and assessment for release on the defendant's own recognizance or minimal bond; providing the courts with information used in determining sentencing, bail, programming needs and community services; probation supervision and enrolling and facilitating various support groups such as Anger Management, Batterers Intervention, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Substance Use and Criminal Thinking Errors. The agency also monitors random drug screens and curfew related requirements.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Supervision and Court Units)
Sun - Sat; 24/7 Release Assessment Unit
