Free Walk-In Legal Clinics
Provides free, walk-in legal clinics, typically held on the second Saturday of each month at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38111. Volunteer attorneys and paralegals offer information, advice, and referrals from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (or until all slots are filled) on a first-come, first-served basis. New clients are accepted until 10:45 am.

These clinics are a joint project of Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS) and the Memphis Bar Association's Access to Justice Committee. The Public Defender's Office will also host an Expungement Workshop each month during the Free Saturday Legal Clinic. Individuals seeking expungement services should sign in at the Legal Clinic table and will be directed to the Expungement Workshop in the meeting room area.

Saturdays, 10:00 am - 11:45 am (or until all slots are filled)

All clinics are held in the Meeting Rooms on the first floor of the library.
