Provides full child support services, including parent locator unit, establishing paternity through DNA testing, setting up child support orders and enforcing or changing existing orders in Shelby County through Maximus Child Support Services. DNA or genetic testing is done on site. NOTE: ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE IN PERSON BY APPOINTMENT ONLY DUE TO COVID-19; PHONE OR EMAIL ASSISTANCE IS STILL AVAILABLE; EMAIL Judicialdistrict30.DHS@tn.gov IF YOU CAN'T GET THROUGH BY PHONE.

Hours:

COVID-19 HOURS: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY; REGULAR HOURS: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; open the Second Sat of the month from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm; DNA testing Mon - Fri 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sat 8:00 am - Noon.

Call or email for assistance (Judicialdistrict30.DHS@tn.gov) for information and to schedule an appointment. SHELBY COUNTY PARENTS still go to Juvenile Court building, 616 Adams Avenue, for child support hearings. Agreed orders held at 3915 S Mendenhall Road
