Provides a Child Advocacy Center with resources for victims of child abuse in a child-friendly environment with a multi-disciplinary team that allows a child to only have to tell their story one time. Healing Hearts CAC's multi-disciplinary team involves staff from law enforcement, MS Division of Child Protective Services, mental health professionals . prosecution, and medical professionals that work as a team to investigate child abuse cases in DeSoto County, Mississippi. CAC also provides victim advocacy services, including help for the non-offending caregiver to navigate the justice system, referrals to mental health, referrals for medical exams and assistance with needed resources.

Hours:

Mon - Thu 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Fri 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Requires referral by Mississippi CPS, Law Enforcement or District Attorney's Office
