Description:
Provides comprehensive hearing/speech/language tests, support for classroom education, vocational training, intensive speech and language development, comprehensive audiological services, parent training, vocational guidance counseling, public awareness programs and parent support group. Also provides diagnostic services for visual impairment: classroom support; large-print materials; teacher consultations.

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Testing Hours: Mon - Thu 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Eligibility:
Vision Services: Applicants must be students in Shelby County Schools who are visually limited or blind as established by state criteria. Must have verification of visual impairment from an optometrist or ophthalmologist before services are offered. Call for details.
Hearing/Speech Services: Ages 3 and older, living within Memphis city limits.
