Description:
The Nashville Adult Literacy Council's mission is to help Nashville adults with the reading, writing, and English-speaking skills they need for the life they want. Learners at NALC reach their goals through literacy.
NALC offers free one-on-one tutoring and online classes for adult immigrants who want to learn English. NALC also offers free one-on-one tutoring for adults who speak English, but want to improve their reading and writing skills. Class times and dates vary. One-on-one tutoring is dependent on your schedule. Most lessons can be done virtually, some in-person options are available. Call or check website for more information.

Open to all adults living in Davidson County and the surrounding areas, ages 18 and older, who have limited reading skills; NALC will determine the reading level of the client and help match you with the appropriate program.
