Employees who have experienced one of four types of qualifying events can apply directly to The Community Foundation through the application process specific to their employer. The Foundation works with each applicant on a one-to-one basis, and assistance funds are used to pay outstanding bills on behalf of those who are approved. All applications are confidential. Qualifying situations include natural disaster, life-threatening illness or injury, death of employee or eligible dependents, and other catastrophic or extreme circumstances.
