Description:

Tennessee Reconnect is an initiative of former Governor Haslam to encourage adults to earn an undergraduate degree; it's for adults who have never gone to college or for those who started but never finished an undergraduate college degree. Website provides tools for finding colleges, financial assistance and guidance for returning or starting college for TN Adults. TN Reconnect Navigators are also available across the state to work with adult students through the college-going process. Call or see website to find a TN Reconnect Navigator near you. TN Reconnect navigators can also support adult students through the Tennessee Reconnect Grant application process. The Tennessee Reconnect grant is a last-dollar scholarship that provides tuition-free technical certificates or diplomas at a Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) or associate degrees at eligible institutions to eligible adult students. Also can be used at TN community colleges and some four year institutions to pay for tuition while earning a two-year degree.
