BE3 Program

Description:

Provides faith-based programming such as youth leadership, media, sports teams, mentoring, tutoring and life skills classes through the BE3 (Be Empowered - Be Equipped - Be Educated) program for youth in the Frayser area. Provides one-on-one tutoring program with a special emphasis on helping to improve reading and math skills; provides adult mentoring program for youth in Frayser area that includes life skills education (adult mentors needed); provides weekly session of a Media program to teach youth to develop media production skills in music, video, audio and computer-based multi-media. Youth are taught how to create videos and use other forms of social media; and provides a Teen Nyte alternating Fridays.

Hours:

Media Program: Tuesdays, call for schedule; Middle School Learning Center (Mon - Thu 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm; Teen Nyte: alternating Friday nights, call for time; Mentors set their own schedule with students
