Look Good Feel Better is a free program for cancer patients that teaches beauty techniques to women in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

Description
The Road to Recovery Program provides curb-to-curb service for cancer-related treatments and appointments.
Hours
Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and after hours if volunteers available
Eligibility
Patients must be heading to a cancer related treatment. If patient is under the age of 18 or cannot walk, a caregiver must be present. Call for more eligibility information.
Fees
No fee.
Intake Procedure
Call the toll-free hotline at least four business days prior to your requested appointment. Be prepared to provide the date and time of your appointment, approximate length of your appointment, the name of the medical center and address, an oncologist's name and phone # are helpful. It is also helpful to provide an emergency contact with a phone #.

Description
With 41 suites available at no charge, Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge provides cancer patients with temporary housing so that they can access their life saving outpatient cancer treatments at Nashville area treatment centers. This home-away-from-home eases both the financial and emotional stress of cancer patients and their caregivers. It also offers a community kitchen, patio, exercise room, library/resource center, day rooms,and laundry facilities.

Eligibility
Patients staying at a Hope Lodge must be in active cancer treatment, and permanently reside more than 40 miles or one hour away from their cancer treatment center. Each patient must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Intake Procedure
All lodging requests must begin with a referral from the patient's treatment facility located near the Hope Lodge community. Potential guests should coordinate a request through their treatment facility doctor or social worker. Rooms are available on a first-referred, first-served basis.

Reach To Recovery is an American Cancer Society volunteer visitation program. Breast cancer survivors are trained to respond to cancer patients' concerns when they face the diagnosis, treatment, and effects of breast cancer.
Hours
The toll-free helpline is available 24/7. Volunteer visits will be scheduled as convenient.

Anyone diagnosed with breast cancer.

Complete a short intake form at the office. Cancer patient may receive one wig, scarf, and cap from stock on hand. TLC Catalog with moderately priced wigs, scarves, caps, etc. is available.
