Description:

Assists by providing hearing aids for qualified low income people throughout middle Tennessee who have a diagnosable hearing loss and can benefit from hearing aids. All hearing aids provided are new, digital behind-the-ear hearing aids.

Intake Process:

Call 1-877-354-3271 or 615-442-8333 to leave a voicemail, stating your name and phone number. Can also email hearnashville@gmail.com. A volunteer will return phone call or reply to email as soon as possible. Next steps will be given to the client at that time.

* Must provide proof of income
* Copy of latest income tax form or the last six months of your bank statement are required

Program Fees:

There is a $300 application fee for a set of hearing aids. The fee is reduced to $150 if only one hearing aid is required.

Eligibility:

Low income adults in Middle TN

* Clients will be required to take a hearing test before receiving assistance. Staff can help client set up a hearing test if he/she has not done so already.
