Description:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee (BGCMT) are creating a new and brighter future for thousands of young people. BGCMT is more than an after-school program. Agency's focus is helping all young people succeed through curriculum-based targeted programs and high yield activities designed to help members reach our priority outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character, and Healthy Lifestyles. Sites provide a wide range of supervised recreational activities and delinquency prevention services for children and youth of all ages and backgrounds, but particularly for disadvantaged youth, through membership in boys and/or girls clubs. Club members are entitled to use recreational facilities and may have access to counseling, tutorial services, employment assistance, gang programs, drug abuse and alcoholism prevention and other activities and services that direct their energies toward positive social goals and facilitate healthy personality development.

Hours:

School hours: Mon - Thu 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Fri 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm; out of school hours: Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. Transportation provided from McKissack Middle Preparatory School, Jones Paideia Elementary School, Park Avenue Elementary School, and Robert Churchwell

Intake Process:

Complete the online application or pick up an application at a local club and email it to the Club Director or drop it off at the Club.

Program Fees:

Fees vary and some scholarships available. Club member $25 annual fee.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for membership, child must be 5-18 years of age and enrolled in kindergarten - 12th grade.

Volunteer Opportunities:
