Description
Victim advocates provide advocacy, resources and support to victims/survivors. Advocates assist clients with filing for Victims' Compensation, communication between clients and law enforcement, and making appropriate community referrals. Advocates also respond and provide crisis intervention to survivors of sexual assault in Davidson County.

Description
The Safe Clinic will provide a free medical legal exam (a rape kit). The exam is performed by a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) who is specially trained in evidence collection and caring for survivors of sexual assault. The exam includes free testing for STI's and pregnancy.

-Anyone age 16 and older is eligible to receive services at the SAFE clinic. -Exam must be done within 120 hours (5 days) of the assault.
