Description:
Provides non-residential care for those persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss in a safe, stimulating, and social environment that offers art, music, exercise, memory activities and other leisure pursuits to help maintain a level of functioning. Service is not limited to Alzheimer's patients. Other persons who may not have memory impairment but are frail or elderly patients are also accepted, and placed in groups according to their level of cognitive ability. Also provides free Alzheimer's caregiver support groups.
Hours:
Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 6:00 pm; call or visit website for support group schedule.
Program Fees:
Day Care Center: $76.00/$100.00Day, depending on level of care and number of days per week client attends. Support groups are free.
Eligibility:
Anyone suffering from Alzheimer's or any form of memory loss, or frail or elderly individuals needing day care and their family members/caregivers
