Description:

Provides persons ages 60 and older, particularly those with low incomes, with low cost, nutritionally balanced congregate and home delivered meals and provides a summer food program for children, 18 and younger, at different sites. Meals are cooked and delivered from a central location that provides the meals for seniors and children for all counties served by the SWHRA (senior nutrition program also includes the counties of Fayette, Lauderdale and Tipton).

Eligibility:

Low income residents ages 60 and older and children, 18 and younger from Chester, Decatur, Fayette, Hardin, Haywood, Hardeman, Henderson, Henry, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy and Tipton Counties.
