Description:
Provides adult day training, vocational programs, supported employment, early intervention services, residential and supported living services, and family support services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in TN. This is the West TN regional office for the TN Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the state agency responsible for administering services and supports to Tennesseans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, inclusive of Medicaid Waiver Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), state-operated Intermediate Care Facilities for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ICF/IIDs), Tennessee Early Intervention System, Katie Beckett Program and the Family Support Program. DIDD administers services directly or through contracts with community providers and strives to partner with the people supported, their families and friends..
